Conference The Role of Youth in Peace Building Process
In this context, the aim of the conference is to provide the participants with the opportunity to initiate a dialogue among neighboring and distant cultures and to discuss issues related to peace building and the role of youth in those processes, enhancing cooperation among organizations and NGOs as also to discuss and develop recommendations regarding this topic that would be advocated in national youth policies and strategies and European neighboring policies and other broader policy strategies.
Our aim is to gather 2 participants from each of the following countries: Germany, France, Spain, Ireland, Portugal, Italy, Greece, Albania, Serbia, FYROM, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Kosovo, Morocco, Algeria, Syria, Lebanon, Israel, and Palestine.
We are inviting you to select one representative from your organization, whom you believe can give input to the Conference.
The working language is English and the costs of hotel and plane tickets will be covered. Also, the costs of the transport from Zagreb airport to the Terme Jezerčica hotel will be covered. The organizer will purchase the plane tickets after the participant’s lists confirmation. Please note that in case of cancellation, the organizer will reimburse the ticket price from the applicant.
All interested are invited to send filled application forms by February 20th at the latest to [email protected], so we can proceed with selection (if necessary) and administrative and technical issues as well.
