Recommendations for antidiscrimination policy in Croatia
The Centre for Peace Studies (CMS) has been advocating for the adoption and implementation of better anti-discrimination policies for almost two decades. We base our advocacy on the knowledge gathered through the provision of free legal aid, education and contacts with various stakeholders, support for various marginalized groups, and research and analysis of proposed regulations and strategic documents.
The report U raskoraku između norme i prakse: Antidiskriminacijska politika u Hrvatskoj 2017. - 2024. is part of these efforts, and together with it, these recommendations for anti-discrimination policy in Croatia are available in Croatian and English.
The analysis was created as part of the FRED project – For equality and diversity, against racism, which is funded by the European Union through the Citizens, Equality, Rights and Values Programme (CERV). The project is implemented by CMS as the project leader in cooperation with the Ombudsman, the Centre for Peace, Non-violence and Human Rights Osijek, and the Irish Network Against Racism (INAR).
