As part of the project "For an Open and Secure Europe" funded through the programme "Towards an open, fair and sustainable Europe in the world - EU Presidency Project 2019-2021", the Center for Peace Studies published a policy paper "Reform of the Common European Asylum System - Towards a derogation of rights or a turning point for building a fairer system?".

The authors of the policy paper are Julija Kranjec, Antonia Pindulić and Tea Vidović.

In addition to analysing the shortcomings of the current Common Asylum System and making proposals for its reform, this policy paper also makes recommendations to decision-makers.
