MigrArts is an Erasmus+ project that aims to improve the integration of migrants by better taking into account their cultural rights, at the local, national and European levels.

On one hand, the MigrArts project is intended to support the recognition and effective consideration of migrants’ cultural rights. On the other hand, the project aims to promote self-fulfillment through the development of creative skills and a sense of belonging. The project is created in cooperation with 4 organizations from 4 countries: Ligue de l’enseignement from France, Community Development Institute from Macedonia, Centre for Peace Studies from Croatia and ARCI APS from Italy. In our cooperation we aim to include cultural rights in projects targeting migrants; co-build cultural and artistic activities with migrants and encourage their social inclusion as well as the emergence of a European consciousness; and finally develop and enhance migrants’ psychosocial skills to improve their social, professional and civic integration;

The MigrArts project focuses on cultural rights going above just creation of cultural and artistic activities. The project aims at creating opportunities for migrants to assert its cultural identity and to make its own contribution to local, national and European culture.

The project started in 2022 in France and will end with the final event in 2024 in France, having different online and offline meetings in Italy, Croatia and Macedonia.
